eerie

we started the day off harshly, with a tornado warning at 540am. i like getting up early, but not like that! the rest of the day i was mom/wife. deep cleaning, lots of laundry, made a big lunch. it was very peaceful. kt stopped by and we all went to target. though i am able to do things alone with them now and enjoy myself, it was nice to have her help because we were in/out faster. i bought two new tshirts with the rest of my gift card! and i bought flour so i can make natural glue for august to use. i have amassed a bag of craft items to collage. i think he will get into that more than just drawing, though i noticed he got a hold of a pen and drew on my coffee table. i honestly don't mind. hudson discovered his feet today so we did "this little piggy" a lot. i did breakfast at dinner tonight for august with moons over my hammy without the ham (all organic! take that denny's!) he really liked it and when he was full he enojyed squishing the leftover egg around his fingers. it's fascinating watching him when he has the freedom to make a mess.
tomorrow will be an early start with our dentists appts in metamora. the rest of the week looks busy but very fun and enriching.
