birthday party

for my grandma. she is 90, healthy and independent for the most part. my two aunts threw her a big party today. i was nervous because i dont see a lot of that side of the family and most of them hadnt even met my boys. it was in a nice big carpeted room so gus got to run like a wild man. it was great for him. we were all dressed up and i was in a good mood because i found a pair of pants that i wore when i was 23 and they fit!!! score. we were invited to dinner afterwards but we declined. one day a week with my husband-i was not in the mood to share him. we came home and i made a big pot of whole wheat spaghetti, grandma style. it's the only way i like it and it's super cheap and high in protein. i just finished vaccuuming and dusting for a few days and now i'm off to finish august's new bunny i've been knitting. his name is guacomole because he's green. he needs a bunny sized scarf. ugh im sore from my 'workout.'
