as if i thought they'd leave me alone for an hour....all i wanted to do was my 22 min yoga video and clean the bathroom, and then i would be supermom or whatever the rest of the day. cleaned bathroom, scrubbed on my knees, sparkling. i asked jj to take the boys in august's room so i could do the stretches alone. 5 min into it stella wont quit humping my leg, so he comes to get her and goes in to give her a bath! that creates such a huuuuge mess that i only do it every few months (lazy too). so then while he's messing up my spotless bathroom, here comes gus with his dumptruck, driving over my legs and bugging me about watching finding nemo. hudson was crawling backwards and getting stuck under a chair. jj just had to pick that minute to wash the pug. why he couldn't have waited a bit i dont know (it had already been weeks! why not wait ten minutes!!) i gave up on the yoga after the third pass of the dump truck. the narrator of the video kept talking about what the "flesh of the buttocks" should be doing during that stretch and it was all twists anyway.
im trying to learn how to knit and everytime i pick up the needles august comes over and is fascinated. i hope he wants to learn someday. he likes to pet the yarn.
