it was interesting. it wasn't relaxing. my little one did not sleep, therefore i did not sleep. when the first ray of sunshine hit the window at 6 something, august woke up. i got jj up and i went to bed alone. bliss! i missed breakfast, and when i got up two hours later it seemed like i had slept for hours and hours. my FIL made me coffee. dear, sweet man didn't have to ask if i wanted it, he just started brewin. the rest of the time was fine. august screamed from bloomington on home and then until he fell asleep at 8. my eye just quit twitching. you know, i really hate it when people do things in front of him and then expect him to not copycat. his need to replicate everything we do is a gift, not something to be stifled, and certainly not a way to tease him. a two year old will not "juggle" he will "throw" so don't continue to ask him if he can juggle and then admonish him for throwing.
they weighed themselves and then the boys. i declined. that is twisted. gus is up to 30.5lbs! yay! and hudson is at 21.5. he was 18.3 at six months, so he is doing just fine on my breast milk, and in no need of flippin cereal. there is no nutrition in cereal.
i was made aware of a good deal on a britax carseat so i bought one. i'll let gus use it. he deserves it. he works hard to be a big brother.

about the replicating thing, I totally get what you mean. My pet peeve is when people say things that are not appropriate and ask her to repeat it. Ummm... yeah just what I need... Why do others think it is so funny to treat children like pets who can do tricks!! Also I got the pattern in the mail, thank you so much, I am going to buy fabric this week!!!
