babies

we are not pregnant, not even close, but i have babies on my mind. jj put the swing away since everyone is mobile now and happy on the floor. he took one look at my face when he got the screwdriver out and said, "Don't worry. There will be another little one in here someday." it's funny because i was sooo nostalgic when gus had his milestones and i savored every part of his babyhood. however, hudson has been so intense that i've looked forward this time since i know from experience that the end of one thing is the beginning of the next much more fun thing. 8 months is my favorite baby age anyways! he has gotten sooooo big though. he scoots after houston and august, and they make noises at each other to talk. that's a big deal because august didnt move much at all until 10 months and i was worried.
i even put a note in for newborn sized diaper covers. i hope that doesn't spark the rumor mill and as i type that i know it will. those ladies are quick! if we don't use them i'll sell them again anyways. no babies for a long while, though. i have my hands FULL. literally, h is asleep in my arms. im in love.
