i must be crazy

i packed up the car and hauled my babies to decatur by myself. all day. and we didn't leave to come home until 830. and it was a blast! we went to see carly and baby taylor. she is EP for taylor and using these neato bottles that we might have to try some time in the next few months. i haven't pumped in months though. around 1 i drove gus to culver's to meet with the inlaws and i got food and went back to carly's. spent way too much on a gift card for a spa pedicure for mil's birthday. then i drove h and i out to their house and we all went back to mtzion to eat before i left for home. did i mention that hudson did not sleep AT ALL from the time we got there 12pm until we left town at 830. yea. inlaws took gus to the zoo all afternoon. they let me fill up our gas tank at the farm! score! i was less stressed than i am at my mom's house. i had to wear hudson quite a bit but i never mind that.
i miss carly. she is overwhelmed with a new baby and adjusting to two kids all alone. i wish i lived closer so i could help her out. i tried today but she kept insisting she had it under control. it's hard in the very beginning because when you are breastfeeding there is no break to sleep. it is around.the.clock. it still is for me and i get very irritated bythe third waking at night! she has had a rough recovery, though it will get easier.
she turned me on to yoga toes (soooo buying those) and had a new cookie monster book for gus when we got there. she still thinks of stella when she buys peanut butter. fun times. she is a great friend.
