good day today. we went to washington to play in their park. it would've been fun if there was shade by the playground. after the boys woke up we power walked. LAME i know but man i got a workout. i want to keep losing weight! then gus played in the water/sand thing while i wore h and pulled weeds. gus went in on his own and also went to bed without prodding...he even tried to climb into his crib. i read dr sear's take on potty training and it's pretty straightforward AP so we're going to do that. it's the type of thing that gus responds to so i think it will go over pretty well. we have been trying to get him to pee in the potty for months. he will sit forever....now he can sit through a whole episode of sesame street if he wants to but that's not a good idea! he holds it in instead of peeing. tomorrow when he has a dirty diaper i'm going to put it in the potty so he can see it. after his bath i put him, naked and wet, on it while i nursed h. he was dripping wet still but it was so hot so he was fine. the water kept dripping into the potty and making it play the song so i kept having false alarms. the first time he does it i am going to be so happy. i will probably write a huge post about it blah blah blah.
jj was awesome and let me go get a drying rack so i can hang dipes out to dry now. since i have so many and inserts too it's necessary. too bad kmart was out of clothespins so i hope they don't blow away.
i have been selected to clean aunt jean's house! woohoo! i'll get paid standard cleaning lady salary and it's going to be a nightmare but i'll have a little money in my pocket! i've mentioned the treasures that reside there but o.m.g. the clutter. i am so anti clutter that i cant even stand crap on my fridge. seriously pics of my kids and whatnot bug me because i want to live in a house that appears like it was staged. i respond to that. but instead of being a coldhearted clutter free maniac i will allow pics on the fridge. my point is that i am a good and thorough cleaner but it will be hard to resist the urge to Throw Away. I do that at my mom's when "the kitchen fairy" visits and then they can't find anything for a month afterwards because i Put It Away. i sound like such a boring person in this post. shallow. i spend so much time on keeping things going in the routine that it's hard to deviate. someday i will be back to normal.
