oreos

today was fun filled. jj and i took the kids to hobby lobby to buy frames. we bought gus some kazoos! they say jesus loves me on them. we can have a kazoo band. then my mom came over to sit with the kids (while they slept) so i could get some work done in my basement. i still had crap down there i hadnt unpacked yet. it will be a year tomorrow that we moved in this house! so now my laundry room is empty, clean too. i had to scrub the floor because it was icky from stella being down there. the bathroom is ready to go except for the tub jets are still icky. the family room just needs vaccuumed and put together. i think i'm going to keep the computer up here in our room for a little while longer. both my children slept all afternoon so i could get all of that done. it was exhausting. after dinner i took the boys to a park in the heights. it's just a little neighborhood park with baby swings and smaller kid stuff to do. we had a blast. i wore h the whole time so he slept. he spent a lot of time in the sling today. i love that thing. after the park we came home to color and eat oreos. jj taught gus how to twist the top off of the cookie and eat the filling--oreos are dairy free so i can eat em too! well, gus just eats the filling and leaves the gooey mess everywhere. it was gross. it looked like an oreo massacre with all of the soggy cookie pieces everywhere, sans filling.
