party

it was a great day. we had a full house, plenty of SUPER yummy cake (ordering from her again!) and just a few toys. hudson got lots of really neat clothes, a nice set of unfinished wood blocks that will last forever, a pegboard/math learning toy that is awesome, and lots of great books. my favorite one is the babar book my mom and dad got him. it was one of my all time favorites as a little kid and i had fun looking through it.

i was proud of my little decorations. gus made the puppets from a kit (with my help) and once the table was set up he was so excited to light candles and sing happy birthday.

he did really well. we talked to him several times before about what would go on and that even though it wasn't his birthday he could still help hudson and join in the fun. i invited the same group we have for august's parties and it was really nice to have our group together.
