and they didn't need me. boo.

there was a pretty big First in our house tonight. we had a good day today; just gus and i went to the market to get things for home made sloppy joes (ground turkey breast=yum) and london broil. we dawdled and looked at the colors and choices. it was fun! h slept all afternoon, so i had august practicing his dump and pour skillz with lentil beans. he stuck some on his face and got them EVERYWHERE. it was a pleasure to clean up because it is such a good activity for him. attention span is hard to work on, but he sat and poured from container to cup etc for almost a half hour without my assistance. i just watched.
anyway after dinner i had to vaccuum due to the lentiliciousness of the carpet. can you believe i made up that awesome word?? since we have two munchkins scootin around i didn't want them to be eaten. houston ate grass the other day when we were outside. oops. well, i put hudson in august's room so he could take all the instruments and cars out of their crates. he loves doing that, and august went in to help. i vaccuumed, they were having fun. i cleaned the kitchen, still having fun. chatted with mama bus, still ok in there. they played together and jib jabbed for 45 minutes!
most people would be so excited that their high needs baby was finally ok to be alone for periods of time but not me. i am a high needs mama, that's why i practice AP. i am very happy to have witnessed my boys interacting and loving each other and sharing toys. they are growing up, sighhhh....hopefully they still get along great when hudson is ready to be out of our bed. i want them to share that room so i can have a sewing room/office/other baby room.
