we spent the day at my mom's. the boys woke up at 630 so we had an early start. i was dragging so i tanned to take a nap. our power went out for a while this morning as well. they sealed the roads in the neighborhood so i didn't want to be stuck indoors all day. i swam with gus! it was so much fun! he is officially my little fishy. he only had water wings on and did great, splashing and blowing bubbles and swimming. i was stoked that i fit into my tankini from last year and it didnt' look too bad! courtney brought sydney out and he played with us too. she asked me how long i plan to nurse h and i was honest, as long as he wants to, ideally until 2, and my mom about choked on her peach tea. it'll be interesting! we had a nice, if not exhausting, day. gus didn't eat much at dinner and was in meltdown mode all evening. i stopped at mcdonalds and got him a small vanilla shake to make his night special. he drank that and helped me open mail when we got home and he kept saying YUM MMM. both boys are now in bed and i am going there soon except that i have to finish diaper laundry.
