day in the life

-awakened at 7 by hudson, beating on me to eat. i never mind this. it's great.

-nurse an uninterested baby, give up, fall asleep on couch

-8am awakened on couch by august touching my face.

-830 nurse h again, gather list, paperwork to fax, diaper bag, sling, leave

-errands to office depot where i splurged on a pink planner, buy frozen fruit and ginormous thing of string cheese for gus at gfs, meet up with anna, go home. drop off frozen food, head to aldi

-1130 home to make pasta salad, clean up rotten sweet potato nastiness in the cupboard, nurse h while eating pasta salad and feeding august. i start diaper laundry in this time

-don't remember, anna left sometime in there, i was tired and made coffee

-220 jj leaves for work, i guzzle coffee, put dipes on rinse and go upstairs after gus goes in bed

-300 get h to sleep, my dad stops by to dig hole for clothesline, i stuff dipes

-315-430 gus isn't sleeping, i'm helping my dad in the yard, holding umbrella on him during rain

-430 i get gus up and SURPRISE he has handfuls of poop, poop is everywhere, it's very stinky

-431 gus in tub getting scrubbed down, h starts screaming upstairs

-500 gus dressed, dad leaves, i warm up chicken breast for dinner

-530 gus didn't eat, i have two bites, i decided to turn tv on so i can talk to ktd. love ktd. she suggests beer.

-600 nurse h, tv off, go out for a walk. h starts screaming halfway through so he is plopped in the sling. he is very heavy to walk quickly with while pushing a double stroller

-645-745 i work in the yard raking sticks and whirlygig things. our rake breaks. gus keeps trying to go in the road. it takes me waaaay to long to accomplish what i did in that time. h asleep in sling

-750 gus finally steps in road while looking at me. go inside. start dishes while he eats cheese for his snack.

-800 scrape cheese off of floor, h in sling, gave up on dishes so they are soaking, go to put gus in bed and he has soaked through his diaper. and pooped again.

-815 gus in bed asleep (that was quick) and h is upset because i put him down for five min to clean poopy diaper

-did dishes verrrry quickly while h cried. i feel terrible about this. really terrible.

-bathe hudson who coos the whole time

-830-930 nurse him to sleep in our bed. yes it took that long. usually it takes 15min

-942 typing this boring stuff, going to eat a snack at 943 and then crash.

ps. i just went to post this and it disappeared. it was a google error. h started crying right as the error message came up and i burst into tears. now h is back asleep, i'm calm and thank god for the 'save draft' thing on this website. goodnight.
