is yummy. today was interesting. we worked in the front yard today raking and mulching. gus helped rake mulch. then we went to my parents' house. of course h wouldnt nap. he was irritated so i was too. at dinner an ambulance driver called to tell us he was taking aunt jean to the hospital. she fell again and cut her head wide open. my mom rushed off and i havent heard from her yet. it is time for jean to live closer to help. she keeps falling. she is depressed. my grandma lives in a cottage and is thriving. she has a walker but she goes everywhere on the bus-movies, out to eat, groceries...she even plays the kazoo in the band. they play all over. mom suggested to jean that we clean her house out and move her into that and she said not yet.
i want to be there on clean out day because they have uhhh interesting stuff. i have my eye on a whiskey decanter that is a statue of the pope. it is the centerpiece of their bar. they also have a wall sized picture of deer. it is supposed to look like it's outside. there are drapes around it that you can close, in case you get freaked out by the fake deer stalking you. there are also lots of things, furniture included, made out of shells. and a straw hat collection. two plastic lobsters, life-size, that used to scare the crap out of me. i could go on. their house is freakin awesome!

wow there house does sound interesting to sort through! can you imagine downsizing everything that has surround you your entire life-the things that you worked so hard for and shared with your loved on? it's a difficult step to take...but it sounds like it needs to be done.
not one, but TWO lifesize plastic lobsters??? wow. you know what you should do with those? get a fish tank to put in your kitchen, fill it with water, and drop those in. then tell people to pick which one they want for dinner. haha. like the big tank they have/used to have at red lobster!
